Sinera Rigging was founded in Barcelona (Spain) in 1997 and has become a leading company in the marine industry specialized offering services to megayachts. We have the last generation calibrated equipment and a fully-competent personnel to perform dynamic and static tests and through examinations to LSA Cranes, Lifting Appliances, Boarding Devices, Outside Rails, Safety Gear. We are certifying based on worldwide standard regulations as MSC.402(96), the REG Yacht Code and ILO 152.

Inspection & Load Testing of Lifting Appliances
Basis on MSC.402(96), the REG Yacht Code and other international regulations, we perform thorough examinations and load testing on lifting appliances including but not limited to:
Our engineers are competently trained to perform spot inspection and testing, annual inspectionand 5-years thorough examination with staticand/or dynamic test depending on each requirement by means of certified weights or waterbag with calibrated load cells.
Inspection & Load Testing of Boarding Devices
Basis on IMO A.1045(27), the REG Yacht Code and other international regulations, we perform thorough examinations and load testing on boarding devices including but not limited to:
Our engineers are competently trained to perform inspection and testing, annual overhaul with static test by means of certified weights or waterbag with calibrated load cells.
Working aloft & at height. Access tracks and pad eyes.
Our team have full expertise with the installation, maintenance, and service of access tracks and fall prevention pad eyes. We are authorised installers and service providers by manufacturers Harken and Ronstan.
According to REC Annex B and EN795:2012, this fall arrest anchorage device needs, at least, a 12-month inspection and load test. We use last generation suction pistons for load testing or waterbag with calibrated load cell.
Our range of possibilities can include non-mandatory but recommended services such as cleaning the car and its components, condition inspection of cars, checking of the torque of screws or screws replacement.
Inspection & Load Testing of Lifting Gear
According to ILO 152 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in Dock Work (No. 152), all ships which can carry more than 12 passengers must inspect, test and certify all lifting gear which includes:
We also include in the inspections all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for works aloft & at weight like harnesses, helmets, absorbers, carabiners, fall arresters in accordance with Manufacturer’s recommendations and Flag requirements.
Ropes manufacturing & Load Testing
Sinera Rigging has a strong experience providing high quality wire and rope works, wire and rope replacements and the corresponding load test for LSA, man riding and lifting appliances to accomplish wih SOLAS Cap III.
Retrofit. Pre-Installation Mock-Ups
We have a constant supervision of main international regulations and laws applying to your yacht to keep all your items updated. Our technical team can advise you and carry out different types of installation like pad eyes, safety rails, portable cranes, ladders, tender or jetski appliances… Our range of possibilities is really wide!
Sinera Rigging offer fully competence for manufacture and test Anchor Point Support and Access Tracks Mock-Up’s according EN795:2012.
Our procedure includes the engineering project, the manufacturing of the Mock-Up and load test in our facilities. We also provide a Letter of Compliance to match with Class & Flag requirements.
